About India Writer Award 2024
The India Writer Award 2024 is the third prestigious writing contest organized by the Indian Film House. This national-level event aims to honor talented writers across India. Our goal is to unite writers from all Indian languages and build the largest writers’ network in the country, creating numerous opportunities for writers on various platforms. Writers of all experience levels are welcome to participate.
Who Can Participate?
We seek poets who use language creatively to evoke emotions and tell stories. Your poem should feature sound, rhythm, rhyme, and a proper format with strong, accurate words.
- Junior Category: Ages 6 to 14
- Minor Category: Ages 15 to 17
- Adult Category: Ages 18 and above
All Indian languages, including English and Urdu, are accepted. There are no theme restrictions. You can submit previously published poems. Ensure your work is original to avoid disqualification.
Prizes and Benefits
- Digital Article: Each participant receives a digital article on our official website, showcasing their poem.
- Top 10 Winners: Articles published in the first official IFH Indian Magazine under Talented Indian Writers Articles.
- Digital Certificate: All participants receive a digital certificate for participation.
- Top 10 Poets: Recognized as the Best 10 Writers of India 2024 in their respective languages during the IFH All India Young Writers Submit in Bangalore. Awards can also be availed online.
- Top 3 Winners: Cash prizes awarded:
- First Place: ₹10,000
- Second Place: ₹7,000
- Third Place: ₹5,000
- Overall Top 3 Winners: From all languages:
- First Place: ₹50,000
- Second Place: ₹30,000
- Third Place: ₹15,000
- Additional Rewards: Framed certificates signed by renowned Indian writers and celebrities. Offers for screenplay, scriptwriting, and lyric writing for films by Indian Film House.
